Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains eligibility, timelines, and process for refund requests for Opineos paid purchases.

1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases made through Opineos billing flows and our authorized payment provider (including Paddle). It covers one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions unless a separate written contract states otherwise.

2. Standard Refund Window

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the initial purchase date, provided there is no significant abusive usage, policy breach, or fraud indicator.

3. Renewals

For subscription renewals, refund requests should be submitted within 7 calendar days of the renewal charge date.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds may be denied for confirmed fraud, abuse, repeated policy violations, chargeback abuse, or where service has been materially consumed in bad faith. Applicable taxes and payment processing fees may be non-refundable where required by law or provider rules.

5. How to Request

Send your request from your account email to our support/legal contact with transaction details, invoice/receipt ID, purchase date, and reason for refund.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method. Settlement timing depends on your bank/card issuer and payment provider and may take several business days.

7. Chargebacks

Before filing a chargeback, contact us so we can resolve the issue directly. Unnecessary or abusive chargebacks may lead to account restriction while the dispute is handled.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law. Where local law grants broader refund rights, those rights prevail.
